Saturday, July 6

  • 12:45 p.m., Helfant Chapel – Noam will lead a havruta style study session to explore how genders outside of the static male/female binary have been categorized, understood, and experienced, by Jews around the world from antiquity to the 20th century.
  • Saturday Evening, Homestead Hebrew Chapel – between minhah and ma’ariv Noam will give a shi’ur examining LGBTQ+ identities in the Talmud. Dessert will be served.

Sunday, July 7

  • 10:00 a.m., Eisner Commons – Noam will discuss his book A Rainbow Thread: An Anthology of Queer Jewish Texts from the First Century to 1969. The book will be available for purchase and signing. A light breakfast will be served.
